Had an enjoyable time at this quaint pub accommodation. The location is unbeatable, with the bustling market just a stone's throw away. Don't miss out on a hearty breakfast. it sets you up perfectly for exploring Chester. Embrace the charm, but request a room in the main building for comfort!

I stayed in a beautifully presented Double Room with a fantastic shower. The atmosphere felt like home, a real gem in the city.

Charming old-world architecture with low beams and intriguing nooks makes for a cozy stay. The breakfast offers a hearty selection, perfect for those with a big appetite, and the location is spot-on for exploring nearby attractions.

The room lacked sufficient storage, only a wardrobe available, making it tricky for longer stays. The shower height was a real inconvenience. at 5'6'', my friend struggled to fit comfortably under it, and the noise from the nearby stairs and adjoining rooms made it tough to get a good night's sleep. Plus, drinks at the bar felt steep compared to less expensive options just down the street.

Our room was nicely decorated and modern, and Kathy’s help with our bags was greatly appreciated after a long journey. The breakfast options were varied and freshly prepared, making for a delightful start to our day.

Just an appropriate option for a cursory stop in Chester that’s great for the money. The impressive staircase adds a nice touch. Be prepared for steep bar prices when ordering drinks.

This place has tons of character and history. A good range of real ales straight from their own brewery. Service was pretty quick, but the food was a bit of a letdown – too few chips with my fish, and the gammon was fatty. I wish the food matched the vibe here.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We explored the bustling market and the stunning cathedral, both just a short walk away. The room was cozy and clean, perfect for our stay. Heads up , the stairs can be steep, so plan accordingly. we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place for a fun group getaway.
